On May 8th, 2016. Ledlenser lit-up the streets of Melbourne with the spectacular sight of 3,500 runners sporting the running-specific Ledlenser NEO Headlamp in the Wings For Life World Run. Helping raise awareness for Spinal Cord Research, Wings For Life is a 'one-of-a-kind' event that offers participants the opportunity to run, walk or wheel up against competitors across the globe simultaneously.
The event kicked off at 9pm AEST in Melbourne, with participants talking off down the Monash Freeway, creating an amazing view for onlookers as the Ledlenser NEO Headlamps lit-up the road with a stream of luminous LED light. This year, 1,255,000km were run by participants from over 200 nationalities and Wings For Life helped raise 6.6M Euro towards Spinal Cord Research.
