The annual Wyong Triathlon (or Tri-Wong as it's fondly referred to) was held on the NSW Central Coast in early November, and was the first major sponsorship event for our new nuun brand. The day featured four different event courses to cater for all different fitness levels, with a total of 500 entrants and plenty of supporters out to cheer on the competitors

This was a great introduction for our first sponsored event for nuun, as not only was it the perfect target market but we were able to successfully create brand awareness and exposure. In addition, being present on the day enabled us to educate the athletes on the benefits of nuun and reiterate the key reasons as to why they should be using our brand over others.

We received lots of positive feedback from the athletes in relation to the taste and flavours of the product and how it was re-freshing to consume whilst on the course racing. Moving forward, we are now working with the event organisers Elite Energy on more events that nuun can be aligned with.
