We'd like to wish a big Happy New Year to all our customers from the team here at Zen Imports! We've returned from our holiday break with batteries fully recharged and we're ready to take on everything 2017 has to offer. Looking back, 2016 was a big year for Zen - here are some highlights:

We launched the world's number one hydration brand, nuun in Australia, midway through 2016 and it’s fast becoming one of our top products. Based out of Seattle, nuun is the pioneer and global leader in electrolyte tablets, offering a healthy, natural alternative electrolyte replacement \ to all level of athletes from cyclists, yoga, hikers, swimmers, runners and more. In fact, we just brought on Australian Olympic Marathoner, Milly Clark, as our first official nuun ambassador!

With Ledlenser we partnered for the third consecutive year with Wings for Life and their incredible World Run. Together with Ledlenser Germany we provided thousands of NEO headlamps for the event in Melbourne. 2016 also saw the hugely successful release of the P7R, H6 and H6R plus a few other notable items. Look out for a bright 2017 with Ledlenser.

The much awaited range of KOVEA camping stoves were also launched in 2016. KOVEA are among the leaders in portable gas stoves and appliances, and we look forward to adding to the range in 2017.

We saw big growth with Nite Ize and their wide range of innovative products. We introduced some creative merchandising solutions to create an in-store innovation destination. We also recently introduced Amanda Skwarko to our team as our Nite Ize brand manager.
 
It's message stronger than ever, Klean Kanteen continues to raise awareness for their unwavering cause to “reduce single use” plastic bottles. 2016 had Klean Kanteen involved with the international Yoga event Wanderlust and TED style events such as She Went Wild. From a product perspective we see large traction with the Insulated Classic line and the updated Wide Mouth Insulated bottle with the redesigned Café Cap.

Looking ahead, 2017 already looks as busy as the year just gone. We’re launching several key product ranges early in the year and are excited to add Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven to our portfolio. Stay tuned to our monthly InfoPack’s for more information as it develops. We will continue to invest back into the business through improvements to our ERP and warehousing systems. We have plans to recruit further people in the coming months and have some exciting marketing activations to roll out in 2017.
