The Wings for Life World Run is back once more in Melbourne on May 7th! If you're in the area and would love to have some fun while also supporting a great cause, why not join us at the event! Here’s how it works: The Wings for Life World Run takes place in 24 locations across the planet. Everybody starts at exactly the same moment, 11am UTC. A half hour after the race starts, a moving finish line, the “Catcher Car,” chases runners along the course, gradually getting faster until each one is caught. The first runners passed after a few kilometers are the first to celebrate their accomplishments, while the last man and woman to be caught are declared Global Champions. (88.44km is the current record!)

The Australian leg of the event kicks off at 9:00PM from Patterson Reserve in Hawthorn, with the track heading down the Monash Freeway. Ledlenser Australia is there once again, helping to light the way with every runner receiving a NEO headlamp.
